I booked accommodation at Aldatzeta Ostatua in Bermeo. I arrived before check-in time and met with a lovely girl who was happy to keep my bag and move to my room when ready to occupy, she provided the keys and I was delighted to sightsee without a bag. She provided tourism information as well. The room en suite was clean and enjoyed watching TV at the end of my day. There is a poster beside the front door with contact telephone numbers in case she is unavailable. I have worked as a travel agent and the quality-price ratio was excellent.
Nice guest house with clean room and king size bed, quiet and in a good location. I highly recommend booking with them if you want best recommendations and help in organizing your visit. Olatz was absolutely brilliant providing us with maps, bus schedules and best places to eat.
Perfect small hotel in a wonderful location. I know there are some reviews stating people couldn't check in. We had no issues. We communicated once we landed in Spain our estimated ETA. Olats at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She gave us maps of the city, suggested sights to see, places to eat, and even gave us tips on transportation around Bermeo and to San Juan. Olats even went as far as giving us pointers and transportation help to our next destination. The rooms was comfortable and had a wonderful small balcony that we kept open at night for a nice breeze. The room was clean and even had toiletries we forgot. Would highly recommend staying here as the hotel is in a wonderful location and the staff as above and beyond helpful and sweet.
You do not need to go to Tourist Information as the staff kindly explains for you not only features of Bermeo but also logistics. The room is also very nice.
